These horrific creatures lurk inside caves and crawl on the ceiling, making them hard to reach. Horriblins are one of the new additions in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Moreover, you can also use the Hinox Horns, teeth, and toenails dropped by them to fuse weapons, upgrade armor, or create elixirs. You can pull on the necklace to grab a few weapons when fighting them. Like Batman’s utility belt, the Hinox stores various weapons in its necklace to use on Link. The ogre-resembling monsters now come accessorized. Hinoxes are recurring monsters from The Legend of Zelda franchise that have returned in Tears of the Kingdom. While getting close to them is not recommended, you can still defeat them by aiming for their eye with your arrow. The Gloom Hands resemble decayed hands with an evil eye on the palm and can overwhelm you once you’re spotted. Gloom Hands are easily one of the worst enemies you’ll encounter in Tears of the Kingdom, as they come in large numbers and are entirely comprised of Gloom. Gloom Hands, also known as Gloom Spawns, are a new addition to the Zelda franchise. You can use Gibdo’s bones, guts, and wings to upgrade your armor or brew elixirs. Instead, you must rely on Fire and Electricity-based attacks to take them down. Furthermore, you must fight Queen Gibdoas one of the main story bosses.ĭespite their varying appearances, they all have thick skin that makes them invulnerable to physical attacks. Moreover, their Moth-counterpart, aka Moth Gibdo, can be found flying in the skies. These ominous-looking monsters plague the Gerudo Desert. It would be great to see this enemy make its way into Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom alongside Dinolfos and some other classic enemies, but until more is revealed, fans can only guess at which favorites will return.Gibdos are a new addition to The Legend of Zelda franchise. There could even be an armor set designed to mimic them, which would be just as cool as the weapons and fun to match with them. They may drop very cool-looking weapons, shields, and possibly even bows, but like Wizzrobes, they might not drop other items. Their strong armor can make them unique enemies that would require careful planning and preparation to defeat, especially if they had phases in Zelda: TOTK that connect them to their Twilight Princess iteration. The Darknut is an enemy that first appeared in the original Legend of Zelda game, where players had to attack them from behind to damage them. Since they're also a stronger counterpart of Lizalfos as Moblins are to Bokoblins, the best way to use them could be for them to help lead them and fight alongside them just like Moblins and Bokoblins do. In addition, they drop Dinolfos Fangs and Dinolfos Arm Guards when defeated in Hyrule Warriors, so they already have some drops for Tears of the Kingdom to use. Since they wield weapons, they can have equally cool ones unique to them like other enemies do, and the fire-breathing varieties mean that they can come in different elemental forms like Lizalfos. Some varieties breathe fire, and others have protective arm guards to block Link's attacks.ĭinolfos are a very good classic Zelda game enemy to appear in BOTW's sequel. Unlike Lizalfos, they typically fight Link alone rather than in groups. They wield weapons such as axes and swords, and some iterations have metallic armor. Dinolfos are lizard-like enemies similar to Lizalfos, but much larger and stronger and with spikes across their bodies.
